Silo cleaning work

BUCHEN-ICS’ silo cleaning work is a highly specialised service for cleaning contaminated and clogged up silos and does not require the employees to climb into the containers. All types of bulk material – whether it be coal, fertiliser, plaster, cement, cereal, animal feed, salt or clay – eventually adhere to the walls or form clumps. This results in a build-up of debris, slows down the flow of material and reduces the space available for storage.

Using the BinDrill®, BinWhip® and Cardox® mobile silo cleaning systems, the BUCHEN experts remove all kinds of deposits from silos up to 45 metres deep. At no stage do the operatives have to enter the silo – thus preventing the material from becoming contaminated.

Our mobile silo cleaning systems

The cleaning equipment used for this mobile work is anti-static, spark-proof and meets the strict safety standards and hygiene regulations of both the chemical industry and the food industry. What’s more, as the systems are modular, the equipment can be installed quickly and can be adapted to the size of each individual silo. At no time during the process must the staff climb into the silo to do their cleaning work.
